Hi Everyone!
My name is Anja and I'm in the Bay Area of California (on the Peninsula). I picked up my Ocean about 2.5 weeks ago. I have an Ocean One, the color is Blue Planet with the Maliblu interior and the 22" F3b SlipStream black wheels.
My experience thus far has been mixed.
The car is super cool looking, very fun to drive with a stupid amount of torque. Overall, I really love it.
That said...
The bad:
I was able to pick it up and get an "orientation" vs just having it dropped at my house but the experience was more akin to buying a used Buick off of Craigslist than purchasing a state-of-the-art, luxury EV trying to compete with the likes of Tesla, Lucid, Rivian, Audi, etc. More on that later if anyone is interested. For now - TLDR: it was comically bad!
I've had a huge laundry list of issues with the car, some minor and annoying, some alarming. What's making all of them so much worse is that it's impossible to get a tech to help me. I filed my original ticket 2.5 weeks ago and, despite me calling again and again pleading for help, I've yet to have a tech reach out to me. The people who answer the phone are a bit of a mixed bag, some more helpful than others but none who can actually help me with these issues.
I am also missing a number of accessories that should have come with the car and have been unable to get anyone to give me any information as to when they might be expected so really quite frustrated about that as well.
I'm planning on going to the Bay Area owners meeting this Saturday morning so hopefully I will meet some of you there and we can commiserate and help each other!
Best,
-Anja

Welcome to the board and congrats on your FOO. Sorry to hear about your issues and unfortunately, you are in the majority with a similar situation. Saying Fisker is having growing pains in an understatement. I went to an owner's meetup last month in SoCal and was fun and great way to meet other owners (and to date, still the only time I have seen another Ocean on the road).

@sparkles sorry to hear about your issues with your FOO. I am sure the other owners in NorCal you will meet this weekend should be a great resource. The way things have been going with the gremlins, sometimes you just wake up in the morning and after you gently shake your FOO out of a deep sleep cycle, they self resolve. Hopefully an OTA will come your way soon.
i have been playing the delivery shuffle game for 3 weeks now and allegedly mine should be delivered today to my home in the Seattle area. It won’t. They can’t really confirm if its in PDX, Arizona or if it even left ATL…

When??????????
Thanks! I'm really looking forward to Saturday's meetup! Funnily enough I have seen just one other Ocean One and it was the day I picked up my car, as I was exiting off of 280 there was one right in front of me, LOL!

Good luck!! Hope yours shows up today and already has the update. 🤩 One recommendation is to have an extra battery on hand for the key fob! Let us know how it goes!

@sparkles Welcome to the community! You're going to meet a lot of owners at the event on Saturday. Just ordered the refreshments. Should be a lot of fun!

Welcome, Anja! My name is Eugene, and I'm coming to Los Altos meetup tomorrow morning, from Monterey. Hope to meet you and many others in person.
@seancallahan Sean, do you know if anyone from Fisker will attend tomorrow's Los Altos meetup? Are you coming also? Would be great to meet you in person!
@eugene-ganeles I'll be at the Tustin owner meetup, or else I'd totally be there! @gskaff is helping run the show. Not sure if anyone from Fisker will make it. We've got 106 RSVPs, so it's gonna be a blast—a perfect chance to connect with fellow owners. Hope you can make it!

@sparkles thanks!
no luck on the delivery for 11/1, or 11/2 and more than likely not 11/3-11/6. Apparently there has been some “restructuring” with their 3rd party delivery service and as a result, many/most deliveries are in a hold status.
Hope to get more info today when my delivery coordinator calls be before EOD like he promised. So far he has been true to his word.
When??????????
@seancallahan All 106 RSVP's for Los Altos, or alltogether, NoCal and SoCal?

Hi @sparkles, i'm in CA, Bay Area as well. i was at the Los Altos meetup a few weeks ago. were you there? I share similar sentiments regarding the FOO. RunBuggy (delivery co that Fisker has partnered with) dropped off the FOO on the driveway when no one was home (despite our constant communications with the Fisker's logistics manager and Sr. Biz Dev Manager in regards to delivery date and time). The driver left the car in the driveway and the keyfob "under the third pot."Hi Everyone!

Since the delivery, I have been successful getting a mobile tech out to help me (my battery was not charging and the FOO was draining 5% a day). Mobile tech says 5% is normal for luxury car - not true, but we take and are thankful for a response/an appearance at this point.
Best of luck. i'm in the south bay area if you're around here...

Hi Dee!
Yep, I was there, I think we chatted. 😊
That's fantastic you were able to get someone to come out to fix the battery issues! It took me 3 weeks before I got even a phone call return. I know have the cell number for a tech and he's been helpful but mainly right now I'm waiting for the OTA update. It was scheduled to install 2 nights ago but didn't happen so now I'm waiting once again for Fisker to call me, sigh.
I do notice that my battery drops some percentage overnight but not 5%, that sounds pretty excessive. I'd say I lose 1-2%.
I'm on the Peninsula although I do occasionally get down to the SB sometimes. Used to work in SVL but not currently.
Did you sign up for the next meetup in January? Hopefully will see you there! 😎
