Why Fisker Stock Price is Low?

@supersonic123 I feel your pain!  However, I don’t worry about it too much.  I am hoping the Ocean Ones will roll out and start getting great reviews and some real world exposure.  That should help spur the stock prices.  What seemed to hurt was the big sell off early this year (I think it was) dropping the price from the $16-$20 range to where it’s been since

It's not too low. It's about where it should be. The last analyst review I read of the stock around April time placed it in the $8 range. TBH I'm waiting for it to dip again to buy more. Over the last few weeks it's actually performed really well.

All tech stocks have taken a hammering this year. Until Fisker actually confirm the pre-orders have sold out (and therefore they have made some income), it'll probably bounce around where it is. I expect the announcement they have sold out to be a catalyst for some upward momentum, but we are facing increasing interest rates, high inflation and looming recession.

Any early investment in a company is really risky. The old warning of 'don't invest any money you can't afford lose' rings true here.

Ya but you have to look at market cap, Fisker is valued under 2.9 bil at this stock price, because of #shares, ford a many more shares 47.8 bil market cap, ford still valued over 16x as much

Price is being kept down by shorts.  over 31 percent of the float has been shorted but sooner or later reckoning day is coming for the shorts and they are going to lose a lot of money.    

Lucid and Rivian are about 10x the market cap of Fisker. I believe other stocks in the same industry have been hurting Fisker lucid and rivian have under delivered all year and a few scam stocks making false claims of delivering last year hurt Fisker so now a huge amount of shorts here. Fiskers been hitting all milestones and has been managing cash very well better than any other ev company. Our time will come but because of all these other stocks that didn't meet expectations we are doubted and will have to prove revenue before we run up and the huge short interest covers. IMO.

I tend to agree with this.  I think there ends up being some ONEs delivered before SOP, or right at start as early deliveries, just get that feeling.  Fisker has been on top of every deadline.   I think we could get near ATHs by end of 22, early 23 because of short interest, and a shot at 45-50 that would still be half the market cap of many of these start ups, my concern in 23 is margin on first 40k as price stayed same through inflation, especially if interest in extreme is lower than anticipated.    My thought (hope) is when all us ONE owners are in the streets demand shoots up!

it’s less making sense knowing the amount of solution but I cannot figure out why there stock price is not on Fire Except the have not released there product ie not showed a profit earnings etc 

but given the advancement of the vehicle and its strengths far superior as suggested and tested 

I feel it should be far beyond validation of worthiness to investors I’mean C’mon look at the no

other no show EV car makers on the market

Rivian & Lucid double and triple stock price in comparison with Fiskers current share price and there’s no comparison look most are still in a no show race of production quality peformance features absolutely  nothing Stella like Fisker apparent no mark of contention yet Fisker Price still waffling

My current thoughts on Fisker's share price. Video should start at 1 hour, 1 minute, and 10 seconds.  

If I’m not mistaken Tesla’stock price was around $5.5 in 2011 before the first S was sold in 2012… one year on the road and the stock bounced to $20+…

so if the ONE has positive responses from the street (the real one and the one from NYC..;)), the sunny days will come for FSR stock. 

Has Fisker shared anything about projected profit margins? The asset-light model is a conservative use of capital but it’s also going to meaningfully cut into margins as there are more middle layers that need to earn a profit. 

@sla what do you mean by “meaningfully cut into margins as there are more middle layers that need to earn a profit”?  I understand Fisker is “asset light” not owning a factory, dealerships, etc but I cannot grasp the meaning if the second half of the statement (I am also not a Wall St. guy!!)

Attached is the company overview from June.  Page 32 shows their "Ocean Operating Model" but doesn't have any concrete numbers/estimates.  Being asset light would have higher on-going operating expenses but of course offset by lower depreciation as well as better flexibility.  

Seeking Alpha recently just did a pretty good write up on the stock.
