Top 3 most shorted stock

I'm starting to see people on this forum spread FUD (fear,uncertainty, doubt). Shorts are known to pay people to go around social media and spread FUD. I'm starting to see a few on this forums that are questionable. I find it strange some are on here trying posting so much negativity. Fisker is literally in the top 3 most shorted stocks and it would be nice if Sean wrote a topic on this and warning how they may use such tactics. What else can Sean do to help insure these forums don't get invaded by possible short sellers? 

If you encounter misinformation on the forum, please report the user. That is not tolerated here. We will correct the user who posted the misinformation, issue them a warning, and subsequently ban their account.

I think that this forum is very good at promoting a positive view on Fisker.

Sure there will be some (who may, or may not, be part of the shorting community). Others just like to promote negativity and confrontation - This is the way of modern life, stirring things and hiding on the internet.

I am not a reservation holder, but just a small scale investor in FSR who is interested in the Company ethos and products. The Ocean is too big for my needs, but would be interested in a Pear (when it ever gets close to being available in the UK, 2025 hopefully).

My investment in FSR is based on a medium to long-term view - On a conservative view:-

   2023 - 15K cars sold at $70K each

   2024 - 60K cars sold at $60K each

   2025 - 150K cars sold (2 or 3 factories, Ocean, Alaska and Pear) at $55K each.

At a 10% margin and a current $2B company valuation - Looks (to me - DYOR) a likely long-term stock winner.

Fisker have enough cash to run through 2024, without profit on sales increasing cash flow.

Therefore - Those that try and run the Company down don't seem to be looking forward and, if I was a shorter, would not be looking at Fisker.

Just my viewpoint.

Fisker has a great portfolio of cars on the horizon. I don't want FSR to be a Tesla - Keep making innovative and competetive products that will be desirable.

I would think there are a lot more pumpers than dumpers at this forum. I belive the many shareholders in here are quite good at not entangling their concerns about their investment with their ability to have reasonable discussion with opposing views. 

Remember that we are quite a few that have cancelled the One because different reasons, and if you start out with thinking those reasons are valid for someone with different priorities than your own, you might not think you are dealing with a shorter. 

I guess retail shareholders is a tiny fraction of the shorting volume. Probably the short volume is coming from the same institutions/funds that own a bunch of stock. Owning enough stock to being able to keep prices down is an efficient tool if you are planning go short. Hedge funds does this all the time. 

I am surprised shorting is legal.

Fisker deserves to be a top stock without manipulators manipulating stock value for personal gain.
