Quick run down on EV sector rally today:
Fisker also made a positive move by sharing plans to deliver more vehicles to North America and Europe in July, with even more planned for August. Fisker stock ended the trading session higher at $5.72/share, up $0.08 (1.42%).

Sometimes the best investing strategy is dumb luck. You may recall that 10 days ago I posted about how I had swapped out my FSR shares (sold at a ~40% loss for $5.25) for RIVN shares (bought at $13.75). A 40% gain on RIVN certainly takes a bit of the sting (not all of it) out of the hammering I took on FSR.
I hope FSR gets a more prolonged bounce, but the bad news on production and deliveries tells me there is more down than up in the days ahead.

You may recall that 10 days ago I posted about how I had swapped out my FSR shares (sold at a ~40% loss for $5.25) for RIVN shares (bought at $13.75). A 40% gain on RIVN certainly takes a bit of the sting (not all of it) out of the hammering I took on FSR.
I hope FSR gets a more prolonged bounce, but the bad news on production and deliveries tells me there is more down than up in the days ahead.
I've been buying and selling as individual stocks go through their cycles. I bought TSLA at $110 and will probably sell a bunch at $300 and wait for it to drop again (it always does) and repeat. My RIVN shares were purchased last year and I'm still about 20% down. I probably should have bought some when it dropped to $12 back in April. My FSR is averaging $8 and I'm staying in for the long haul on that one. My "fun money" brokerage account is pretty much fully invested at this point.

Yeah, doing CDFs with TSLA on Friday nights is the way to go. All the sigma males are rolling their dices with TSLA and bitcoin 🙂

You've done well with your recent investing strategy. The surge in Rivian shares over the past week has been truly remarkable. The company has done a great job with deliveries and is being rewarded for it.

@seancallahan let’s hope their strategy and success is being closely monitored(and possibly emulated)) by a certain Manhattan Beach startup that can’t seem to get out of Pit Row, let alone actually on the same lap as the other racers…
Will I get my Fisker One delivered before my VW needs its 100K service?? The race is on..
and…… will we still get the $7500 tax credit? Only HF knows…

I do not think this particular trade deserves the title "investment strategy." Let's say the accidental timing of my lurch toward Rivian was fortuitous. LOL

I haven't heard any bad news.
Only that cars are being produced and shipped as we, well, type.

@bmiddaugh I am referring to the fact that Fisker announced 3 customer deliveries in Europe and a dozen in the US but nothing close to the Q2 production numbers of 1400 - 1700. The company has declined to release official production or delivery numbers until the Q2 earnings call.
