HF should consider the following to make Fisker appeal to the investors and EV buyers in USA
- Start Magna plant in USA asap
- Give buyers an option to transfer their reservations to Magna USA plant to be eligible for Federal credit
- Give more default options like exterior color and interior. I believe interior color options are very limited now.
- Make leather the default in all trims. Never seen any luxury brand giving cloth seats
- Add more content to the website about charging, financing, service and any freebies like free charging for a year!
Leather standard? He’s trying to be environmentally conscious and killing baby cows to sit on their skins sort of defeats that purpose.
That’s why he sources his Alcantara hides from sustainable, Non GMO, carbon neutral, fair trade , cage free Alcantara farms.
Will I get my Fisker One delivered before my VW needs its 100K service?? The race is on..
and…… will we still get the $7500 tax credit? Only HF knows…
@drshahali10 There is nothing environmentally friendly about leather, unless it is reclaimed.
The plastics involved with the OCEAN are reclaimed.
Alcantara is cheap and durable. It is used in high end automobiles because it is durable.

1. Fisker has already been working with Magna on opening a plant in North America. This is something that will take time to get done. It's really in Magna's court since Fisker can't afford to pay for a factory with their business model.
2. That's at least two years away. I don't think that is reasonable.
3. No, not everyone likes leather or faux leather. That choice is perfectly reasonable.
4. Yes, more info on the website would be greatly appreciated. A Free charging agreement may happen sometime this year. Personally, I don't really like free charging, it's not good for public charging in general since people can abuse it.

Thank you! I completely agree with this. I think it would be good for companies to offer a fixed amount of free charging so new owners can get comfortable with the process but don't like unlimited free charging (and people would more likely use while travelling). I had suggested that the IRA should have included a provision that the car would only be able to qualify for the tax credit if it did not have unlimited charging.

+100 If I were king, all "free" charging options would be restricted to chargers that are located a minimum of 150 miles from your home address or to chargers below 62 kw. We need to declutter the DCFC network.
@ttrinchi i like the idea of free charging, but “x” miles away from your home location only.
give me free charging on the interstates 50 miles or further from home so that we don’t tie up people traveling b/c we are too cheap to charge at home.

Forget free charging all together, what I would want is free DATA, access to apps, internet, etc.. The $13 to charge my car at home is way cheaper than the $40-60 it might cost to have unlimited in car data. I honestly don't know how this works, I know one of my Jeeps has the option of in car data but at a subscription price, I'd take free data over charging anyday all day.

As with most of the details, we don't know how the data plan will be implemented for the Ocean. Will it be free for a year or two, subscription from the start, or lifetime free? My Model 3 was grandfathered into free data since I bought it the first year, maybe One owners will get a benefit of exclusive data. If not, I have an unlimited data plan on my phone; I wouldn't mind just hotspotting to the car for data.

"Make Fisker Great Again"..
rolls eyes.
Absolutely the WORST timing to borrow that kinda slogan.
I feel we will, in the long run, do MUCH better than the person whose namesake that type of slogan came from.
@bmiddaugh he actually stole that from reagan..
