Will Fisker be able to deliver over 32,000 Oceans in 2023? And able to ramp up to 120,000 Oceans in 2024? Or could the production numbers be even higher, with highly efficient delivery process to complement? Impressive numbers coming out of Tesla with over 400,000 cars produced per quarter, perhaps Fisker can aim to better this via it's partnerships with Magna and Foxconn?

@sportynick I just got email from Fisker and they said "We will be delivering more vehicles to North America and Europe in July – and even more planned for August. As previously communicated, we anticipate completing all Ocean One deliveries by the end of September." No mention of Extreme which I ordered. Earlier they said that by Dec the run rate would be 6k per month. Unless they deliver some Extreme before Sep, I cannot see how they can deliver 32k in 2023. 5k One means 27k Extreme by Dec. Assuming best case 6k per month from October, that is 18k Extreme plus 5k One. Total 23k. Unless they deliver 9k Extreme between now and Sep, I cannot see how they can meet 32k this year.

@harik_fisker Remember it is produce 32K not deliver. They have to produce all the US Ones before AUG 15 to deliver by end of Sept. 9K (Aug 15-Sept 30) gets them to the 32K. Best Wishes for getting your Extreme.

I got the same email, posting a screen snip... Mostly because I like the graphic.

2023 07 03 emailed production update

I got the same email. So where are we on the promised 1,400 - 1,700 produced by end of June? How many were actually produced? Another email with future promises is not particularly encouraging.

@kitaz I get that the production target is 32k by 2023 and we need to add time for delivery. Even so assuming they produce 5k Ocean one by mid Aug, they have 4.5months to produce 27k units at the rate of 6k per month Ocean one from mid Aug. Perhaps they will produce some Ocean Extreme in Aug since they asked me to finalize the build.

@harik_fisker I also received the same email moments ago, but the image of my ocean was not correct! the color was gold!?

this is what it should have looked like.

according to the data that is available, my One had a production date of 6/19/2023 with a handover date of 6/21/2023 so I'm sure they will correct this issue before the end of the day.

I was just checking the website and it was showing Nightdrive, but when I refreshed it when back to my original order color. there must be a lot of activity at Fisker today.

Port of Vienna have a storage facility for 10.000 cars. I don't know the occupancies there, but it could be a solution.
I guess they are not going to store any serious amount of cars? Get them to shipping or on a trailer as soon as the cars are done. But they must be churning out cars at a predictable rate to not get killed on transportation prices.
Still keep my guess on 12k sold cars for '23.

With 1022 produced in Q2 and over 80 units a day I consider that a great start. It will only get better from here.

@matezz Agree it's a great start and hoping there won't be negative surprises. Will be good if they can onboard more suppliers as reasoning for production delays has been that some current suppliers find it challenging to ramp up on parts production.

@sportynick Also, these are just production numbers. With 80+ produced every day, I hope delivery floodgates about to open soon as well.

To ramp up production and speed up delivery, why doesn't Fisker deliver most of the cars produced in Austria to Europe, while duplicating production capability in Magna's facilities in Canada or USA, for delivery to USA? The current logistical arrangement of shipping or flying the cars over to the USA will affect profit margin and time to delivery.

Magna has no contract vehicle assembly facilities in North America, only in Europe and China.

@sportynick Because it is much better to have one production facility fully operational before adding more?
