Got another email this am (first one in several months) looking to borrow FSR shares at 6 3/8% interest rate for its short lending program. Bad news: they are running out of shares to lend. Good news, the 6 3/8% is pretty light so probably just "high" demand not "extreme" demand.

@seancallahan Can't stand shorts, but at 87%, I would lend my shares (and then I could use the interest to buy more shares).

@ttrinchi This APR calculator gives an idea of the borrowing cost for $47,500 (10,000 shares at $4.75). Probably not exact, but maybe a general idea? Couldn't even imagine paying a loan with such a high APR, especially when I thought a ~6% auto loan was a lot!

Currently, Short Interest % Float stands at 40.93%. Borrowing rate for Fisker stands at 278.86% as of 4/27. Fisker stands at #69 on a list of stocks with the highest/lowest short borrow rate. According to Fintel, there are 34,027 stocks on the list.
