Mycj7, yes, that's about 1.5 years away. 

 We didn't see the "Fruit" or front storage draw thingy or frunk itself why not?

I would have also liked to see more interior images, passenger seating configurations, and an update on what's happening at the Foxconn production facility. 

Fisker should have invited journalists, youtube influencers, and especially Fiskerati to the event to get their take on the new models. I really don't see anything online mentioning the event besides this space.

I want to place a deposit however from what I read online commentators and media stated the following:

• Feel Fisker will flop and won't deliver the newer models.
• They point out that the stock hasn't gone anywhere and criticized Ocean output and that the company lost millions.
• Plus many have mentioned that Foxconn who Fisker partnered to build the Pear doesn't follow through on promises

1. A plant failed to open in Wisconsin and Lordstown Motors is suing Foxconn---and a final agreement between Fisker and Foxconn still hasn't been finalized.
2. Fisker also failed in the past with nano-tech partnerships and solid-state battery development.

I want to believe in this company and purchase the PEAR but again there's a lot of noise in the background.

Wonder how that Musk and Fisker didn’t jump on the “bandwagon”?(TM or too many moving parts? 😆)

Would sound good as “California mode Plus” for another plus 10k at least 🤔

”Convenience FORCE” with added:

-Automatic retractable satellite dish,

-Automatic retractable seatbelts,

-Swivel 180 front row seats,

-In console hot or cold container (refrigerator/cook pot combination)

for only additional 20k, a 60% discount (if bought separately) 😆 

Imagine how much fun you’ll have on the autobahn/highway at over 80 m/h if the doors get jammed in open position, much better than a roller coaster 🤩 

@evan007 I made my PEAR reservation in December 2022 hoping for a 2024 vehicle, but now I see that it may not be until 2026 before deliveries start. My "backup" is a $500 fully refundable reservation for a Volvo ex30, which is much more likely to be manufactured and delivered before the PEAR. It will be an interesting process to track both vehicles, and see which one comes first.

@mike2977  Both models will potentially be popular if all goes according to plan. My concern with Volvo is that the EX30 might get hit will stiffer tariffs as it is produced in China which has an aggressive government foreign policy. With the PEAR I'm concerned if Foxconn is a future liability for Fisker given its history of going cold turkey on automotive partnerships. Fisker should shop around for an existing factory right now just in case Foxconn pulls out. This would lead to terrible consequences for the company, stock, and investors.

@evan007 I like the Volvo EX30 as well, but not crazy about the lack of colors offered. The 3 EV's I am considering are the Pear, the ex30 and the Equinox.

Well, they just announced that the Volvo EX30 has a starting price of $53,700 Canadian. That's out as an option. In comparison the Ocean Sport starts at $43,999 Canadian. Down to the Pear and Equinox. Hopefully one of them will stay near estimated pricing. 

@mycj7 Yeah, I think Volvo shot themselves in the foot with the EX30. Yes, one of them is limited colors and the other is that it's made and China, and sometimes I feel it is more a Geely product than Volvo. I think I might eliminate it from my list even though in person it looked kind of neat. Having thought about the Fisker Pear, it is an interesting product but I think a few styling elements are a bit overdone. However, I will still keep it on my list and wait to see what the final version will look like. I know the Ocean looked a lot nicer compared to when it was a concept. I might travel to NJ to see one in person. 

The Equinox may be off the list soon as well. Chevy just revealed the prices for the Blazer EV and the base price is $50k (US), $10k more than they had previously released ($63k in Canada). Which means the target price of $30k base price (US)for the Equinox EV is probably not attainable as well and will likely start at $40k (US) which means closer to $50K Cdn. ☹️ Time will tell as the Equinox EV should be available for pre-purchase in the next month or so.
