Fisker PEAR Reservations

Fisker PEAR reservations became available for booking on February 16th, 2022. We secured our reservation for a Fisker PEAR on May 25th of the same year. During Fisker's annual shareholder meeting on June 7th, 2022, the company disclosed that they had received 3,200 reservations for the Fisker PEAR at that time. Fast forward to March 2023, Fisker announced a total of 5,600 reservations for the Fisker PEAR.

However, since then, we have not received specific updates on the number of Fisker PEAR reservations. These reservations have been combined with those for the Fisker Ocean model. We are hopeful that we will receive a more detailed breakdown of reservations during the Q3 2023 results in November or thereabouts.

It's worth noting that after the Product Vision Day, where the Fisker PEAR was unveiled and received extensive media coverage, it is highly likely that reservations for the PEAR have experienced a significant surge. If I were to make an educated guess, it's safe to assume that the number of Fisker PEAR reservations now far exceeds 10,000.

Yes, that’s what Henrik said during the Q&A during the Q2 2023 earnings call. 

I wonder if they are actually that high. You'd think if they got a bunch of reservations after the Product Vision Day that they would release how well reservations are going to encourage more reservations. Being that they delayed production of the Pear by at least a year, I worry that there wasn't much increase as potential purchasers decided to wait and see as there are a number of entry level EV's coming down the pipelines from multiple mainstream legacy  manufacturers (Equinox EV, Boltium, Tesla Model 2, VW ID3, etc). They may have missed the window of mass adoption. I am a Shareholder so am hoping they didn't miss out, but the awd Pear is what I consider ideal as a commuter but I ma considerering whatever comes to market first at the entry level price. 

The PEAR is going to be the company's most import vehicle due to the price and profit they'll make on each vehicle. Fisker should strongly consider going back to the older time frame. At the same time it might be pushed back to make room for the Alaska but given the fact that Lordstown Motors is nonexistent Foxconn should have the space to build the PEAR as well.
