@jayanathan There is another poster on this forum that it has happened to. I have recently seen some FB group posts listing it. So it does seem to be happening to people.

@jayanathan I had this happen twice. Both times the car was locked and the key was a long way from the vehicle.
It is one of my open service tickets but getting the 12V replaced is a higher priority.
@gimmer-oc I am not sure if its a coincidence or what but I got the email about the software update available for my vehicle. I was thinking to myself that what if this was another way of Fisker informing me that there is an update available for my car and for me to go update it 🙂
Jokes aside, I noticed it when I returned home and opened the garage. Curious if it tried to open fully and hit the garage door and ended up partially open like in the picture!! Do you recall if it had opened fully / how much it had opened in your case?

It could be possible that you might have opened it from the app. It happened to me once.
It opened fully and I only used the app when the key wouldn’t work at all.
I found my back seat passenger side window open the other day.

Did you change the battery in the keyfob? Its highly recommended to change it. The old one that came with the meyfob might die anytime unless you got it with a new battery installed.
@carvana I have gone through 2 key fob batteries in 3 weeks. This is another (in a long list) of bad design/untested design choices rather than user error.
This is another scary topic,…imagine locking your car, going about your business a when back your car ravaged by “raccoons”… 😰 😱

…any OTA for this one?

What they should do is an option in the app, to execute the action only when the button is pressed some seconds... something similar to what myQ has for opening the garage door from the app.
Key fob performance had been my #1 issue so far. I did get an extra battery, but it is still awful.
@jayanathan did you pair your vehicle to the app? I accidently hit the trunk button on there while checking the app.
My Ocean One was delivered a few days ago, and the past two mornings I found the liftgate open. It was definitely closed and locked the previous evenings, and the rest of the doors remained locked. The status in the app is "locked". The fob was in my possession and not touched overnight, so I am confident it wasn't accidentally pressed. I entered a service ticket, but wondered if this phenomenon has been seen by others.
@edmundfry I have had this happen twice as well. The technician who replaced the battery had no idea. "I have not heard of that. I will just flash the xxx module. That should take care of it."
