I have looked across multiple platforms and have yet to get a full understanding of the Tow Package and the Accessory Receiver.
If I want to tow a trailer (lighting harness required) do I need both the Tow Package and the Accessory Receiver? If so, that's a pretty steep cost is it not?
The configurator allows you to select both so it is not clear at all on what you are getting.

From my understanding, the Tow Package includes the wiring and receiver. The Accessory Receiver is just the receiver. So if you want the ability to tow something that has brakes, you need the Tow Package. If you just want an accessory like a bike carrier or storage carrier, just get the Accessory Receiver. I'm getting the tow package just in case I need to tow something. So $400 for the wiring is something that will be more expensive to add later. There have been some people that asked Fisker advisors and that's basically what they have said.

@mattyhu I asked myself the same question and haven't received an answer yet. In my configuration for the one, I first selected both, which was also possible.
I asked this exact question via chat earlier this morning when I was playing with the configurator. I was told that the tow package includes the receiver. The receiver is for things like bike racks and the tow package is for trailers and includes the wiring.
Ok thanks. I guess I would expect that the configurator would not allow you to select both.I asked this exact question via chat earlier this morning when I was playing with the configurator.

@jevs Currently for those that are finalizing their ocean one builds, the tow package already shows. And per the estimates of deliveries published by fisker it will be only oceanone orders in Q1 and when it comes to extreme/ultra/sport fulfillments it will be anyways beyond Q1. Which matches what was listed in your screenshot.
I also ordered the one with a trailer hitch and my built look is Q1. The reason why I haven't received a delivery confirmation yet is probably the selection of the additional equipment, since it is not yet available or will only be built at the end of this quarter. others already have a building confirmation and that with a later reservation, mine was from November 2019
@jan I have the tow hitch as additional equipment and have a 2/6 build date. If that changes delivery I will instantly remove it ?
Wasn’t that Tow Package Available Q3 directed at Extreme and Ultra orders and not ONE orders?
pretty sure i read that whilst configurating for the 4th time- but now i can’t find that info?
Will I get my Fisker One delivered before my VW needs its 100K service?? The race is on..
and…… will we still get the $7500 tax credit? Only HF knows…

Thats what I thought, but now I’m not sure.
