Today, my Fisker Ocean just got its first over-the-air (OTA) software update. I had to give the software a manual reboot to get it installed (i.e., pressing and holding the two inner buttons on the steering wheel). I plan to share a detailed write-up tomorrow, pending nothing else to write about, covering all the screens. Here's a sneak peek with one screenshot. The latest version, FM29 OS 1.07/ICC27 (maybe 1.08???) 1.09, but release notes not yet updated... 😀
Edited: Received email today (October 23rd) and with release notes for 1.09. Here they are:

@seancallahan Was the update 1.07 or did you already have 1.07? I thought 1.07 added the ability to get OTA updates so in theory, you should have already had 1.07 to be able to get the OTA.

@ttrinchi I think you're correct, but that's what it showed on the screen before/after the update. First time getting the OTA update on my Ocean. Took about 30 minutes to complete. Needed to exit and lock the vehicle for the update to install.

Since my car is in the delivery facility until next week, I'm hoping it will already be updated by the time I receive it.

@seancallahan How did you get notified to have the OS 1.07 update pushed to your car? The software update screen in my car says the same thing, at the bottom it says that 1.07 cannot be installed as an OTA I thought? (Same as your image above). Isn’t OS 1.08 due this week also?

If it's available, you'll find it in the Settings under the Software section. No version was listed, other than the release notes which I could never see before on my central touchscreen. It could be version 1.08, and perhaps the release notes are inaccurate or haven't been properly revised. Unfortunately, I can't test the car's new features yet since it's currently undergoing PPF wrapping. I have to wait two more days!

I have been waiting for my Extreme which is in Production since 10/3 but still not yet at sea. I came to know from 2 owners that the 12V battery died and a mobile tech came and jump started the battery so to speak and asked the owner to drive it at least once a day. Another owner did not drive for 2 days and now his car is stuck. This is a mission critical failure. Why is it not getting attention?
Hi Sean,
I have the update available screen for FM29 1.07 but there is no obvious option/button for downloading and installing the update.
I have touched the arrow screens, ect.. Do I need to do a reset to install the update?
How did you actually download the update and install?
@dkeebaugh It was really obvious there was an update available. Probably not widely distributed yet. Maybe they are still working on the release notes!

Fisker is 100% aware of the 12-volt battery issue some people have experienced, myself included. I've been informed that the OTA software update had improvements in it to specifically address the 12-volt battery issue. However, not sure if the release notes will shed light on the details of the enhancement(s).

Why is it not getting attention?Given what it's costing Fisker to visit and resuscitate dead vehicles, I don't doubt that this issue is or has been high priority, but do doubt there will be a press release that announces the fixing of this specific issue, since that would also admit the embarrassing failure. If we're lucky your car and mine will already have the fix at delivery.
At Facility, delivery as soon as Nov 25. Ocean Extreme, Horizon Gray, Black Abyss Plus, F7 wheels, VIN 71xx

Yeah, probably not pushed out to me yet... Hopefully soon!
This update should really include the 12V battery drain fix that isn't mentioned in the release notes. I'm really hoping it will.
I'm one of the owners with the battery drain issue that Harik mentioned above here in Fremont and we have been talking about it.
He came by my house this past weekend to look at my Ocean with his wife and son and they love the vehicle. They own two Lucids and use to lots of early software fixes.
Please help me understand. If a new software update is available, will it show/appear automatically in the central screen? And that's where you begin to update by downloading and installing it? This has been my question in another post which I haven't gotten a reply. Thanks if anyone can enlighten me on this and share the specifics.
@seancallahan my software version says ICC390027-APK-1.1.27 is this up to date or is it the Neanderthal version?
