Received Software Update Email before delivery

I am one of those that thought it’s good to know what they will be installing prior to me getting the car as I was always wondering if will get my car at the end of the month with some of the known issues. 

I understand others might not want to know but for those that are not constantly in forums like this I am guessing it’s still a benefit to know, especially coming from Fisker. First hand**

Why is this a problem?

@neni This was my thought as well. I was growing concerned (not that I'm not still concerned) that it would not be as up-to-date as possible at delivery. I'm still going to quadruple check with anyone with a pulse, but the communication was helpful. I mean, I'd take any communication at this point, really.

I read it as Fisker giving us an update (whether you received the car or not doesn't really matter) to inform us of the hardware and software changes that they are performing.  

@mtn-ranger it’s information you are right never have too much.

Yep, I read it as a positive update too. To me, it shows Fisker is resolving issues and being proactive.

I haven't received the email so a bit jealous.

I myself saw this as a positive update. Though I don't have the vehicle yet, it gives me the assurance that once I receive it (hopefully end of this month as it's 'at sea' now), it will have a lot of these issues already addressed. I guess it depends on how you look at it, for someone who's not fully aware of their vehicle status or the current issues it has, this email might be like 'why do I need to know this' type.

Some folks’ default setting is to just grumble. I was actually stoked to hear positive news. If i had a dollar for every email i received “inadvertently” from some corporate entity, I’d be buying this thing with a roll of cash…

@gman why is it a joke?  the email clearly states that if you haven't received the car, these updates will be included.  I have not received my car; know I invested in a brand-new company and am cool with everything to date.  Some folks should consider never buying from a start up again.

@mtn-ranger the guys is a 🤡 .  I hope he enjoys the car or sells it ASAP.
