PNW ocean one owners,

I have contacted a PPF company, Corsa detailing in Arlington, cost $1950 for front protection including front fenders, hood, front quarter panels and side mirrors. $5K for whole car. If interested, they are willing to give discounts if more owners sign up to have their vehicles wrapped. Takes 3 days for front wrap and 1 week for full wrap. They recommend wrapping as soon as we get our vehicles, matte finish more so than gloss finish.

@docsling - I wonder if PPF affects warranty? Why not just ceramic coating?

They have put me in the waitlist for Ocean One.
Hoping to get one :)

@harmony ceramic does not give as much scratch/small ding protection as a film. I wanted to go that route , and if i had one of the glossy finishes I probably would as you can more readily match paint/texture to minor corrections than you could ever attempt with a matte finish.

Will I get my Fisker One delivered before my VW needs its 100K service?? The race is on..
and…… will we still get the $7500 tax credit? Only HF knows…

best option is to have gloss paint and wrap with matte PPF to get the matte finish. Then if you want a change.. peel it off!

@seaphil better deal.. do they wrap the full hood? I have seen some where they only do half the hood... which does not make sense.

@docsling the whole hood i believe.

there is a cheaper option that just gets the leading edge but to me that is not acceptable on the Ocean.
