Hopefully useful Updated 11.19 to summarize what is included in each OTA package.

@bayoubob uff, I guess there are going to be complains from the Extreme's owners... Same equipment on the Extreme vs the ONE, might be more expensive up to 13400$ (if they opt for the Blue Interior, F6 rims and specialty color)

How can't an Extreme come with at least basic colors other than white, and basic allow wheels (let's say F5)?

For the "OTA packages," are those over the air? What I mean is, could I buy an Ocean Ultra with Winter mode (because I'll need it), then later on purchase another package and have the car updated?

@kane_fisker yes. The Ocean comes with all hardware dependant on trim. OTA activates it. People upset that if I've bought the hardware, why can I not use it without paying more? Reason is this is the business model. Buy at a little cheaper price but pay much more to get extras.

Did I read right that on extreme trim I have to pay extra for retractable boot lid? What does it normally come with. I mean all this about extreme luxury and does not have floor mats? I've never bought a brand new car but if you bought a £60k car would you not expect these not even as standard but as basic. I'm worried they may charge me extra for the steering wheel!! 😀

@bayoubob This is good info.  I was planning on getting the Extreme with Solar Orange, the 22 inch wheels, and sea salt interior.  Not anymore. Going to get a Tesla Model Y instead.  No way am I paying $4500 for orange paint.

@james-walters Is getting the white and wrapping it Orange for half that price not an option? You get the added advantage of paint protection.

Theres a reason why people were offered the One, if things were the same why would they even offer it? What would be the point?

@maliblu nothing; I have an order for a ONE, but 4,500$ for painting a car, when your competitor is offering multicoat paint for half price... I'm good, the more expensive other trims are vs. the ONE, the more valuable our ONE trims are.

@aecasorg It would still cost an arm and a leg to get the 22 inch wheels and the sea salt interior.  The pricing is just way more than what other competitors are charging.

its not apples to apples, Tesla is charging you to get 20’s!  The 22’s are more expensive just on size alone. Same with paint, basic colors vs colors you mostly won’t see anywhere else.

@maliblu $3800 more for upgraded tires?  I don't think so.  I've looked at dozens of other cars and upgraded wheels are nowhere near that much.

Orange paint on the BMW I4 EV the sunset orange paint is an extra $650.  Same with the metallic green. On the Ford Mach E, orange is an extra $795.  It's just paint; orange and green aren't 3x more expensive.

To get the configuration I want, it's not an $80,000 vehicle.  For the ONE reservation holders, it's a good deal - not so much for Extreme.

im assuming you’ve never owned a high end vehicle with 22 inch wheels, a quick search will give you a more accurate answer on how much they cost. And you don’t even have to buy them lol, hat size is bmw giving you?
