Finally got to try my bike rack on the Ocean tow hitch. Just note, when removing the tow hitch cover - manual states to remove the 2 plugs - but DON'T remove them! Quarter turn, plugs will come loose and retain in the cover. Initially when removing the cover, it's a bit snug, so work your way around starting from the bottom (near the 2 plugs) and gently pull around - there are 5 tabs around the cover (pic below).
My 1Up rack fits with little clearance between the rack & rear bumper. Depending on length of your particular rack's hitch and folding angle - might be tight and if so - may need a hitch extender for extra clearance.
Thanks for the info! I think they call those "captive fasteners". The offset from the bumper for that mount looks great. Not too close, not too far. I can't wait to see how my current hitch mount accessories will work. The 15" height to the bottom of the receiver is much better than my Murano (which can easily bottom out on steep inclines).

@rogueone That's a super clean bike rack and nice install job! Thank you for sharing. By chance, do you have a link of where you purchased the 1Up bike rack. Is it a special model for the Ocean or generic for a standard tow hitch?

@mtn-ranger Let me know if you need any measurements around the tow hitch for your specific mounts / accessories.
@maliblu Thanks!
@seancallahan It's a standard bike rack from 1Up - my version is the Super Duty Single, they offer double rack versions and add-ons - so you can stack up to 4 bikes (depending on weight). 1Up is really popular with the MTB community - great quality, responsive customer support and made here in the US. https://1up-usa.com/

Hi RogueOne,
Did you do any comparisons with Yak/Thule/Kuat?
Thx

Geez I’m sold, I need to get one. Looks like I’ll have to buy the fat tire spacer for my e-bike

Sweet (Evil) ride! Is the rear collision/breaking alarm going off when in reverse? No issues with that?
@phongpei Here are couple measurements - I'm sure you can pull specs off racks in question to check for clearance. I think Yakima, Thule, Kuat, etc utilizes a hitch pin to secure the rack into the hitch - so I measured about 2 1/4" from hitch pin hole to the end of the hitch. Nice thing about 1Up - their racks don't use a hitch pin. They have an expander ball integrated into the hitch, which expands and locks by turning a hex bolt from the back - so hitch depth is adjustable.
@Maliblu Do it!! Pricey, but you won't regret it!
@crider1 - Thanks! Love the bike 👍 You're right, when you put the car in reverse and start moving, rear collision alarm starts beeping - so hopefully Fisker can offer a mute option later. Here are couple views from the rear view mirror in analog mode and digital mode (digital mode is sweet - bike is completely removed from view!) and touchscreen rear camera view. I had my road bike up this morning.
@rogueone Thanks for the details. I like the expander ball. Will def be an easier install.
@rogueone Is vehicle slams the breaks, when you are backing up? My previous EV, VW ID4, was "thinking" there was an obsticle, I had to fight it.
On my Kuat rack, the hitch pin comes with a lock and provides some anti-theft protection for the rack while you’re riding or when staying overnight at a hotel.
There should be an option to turn off back up sensors. My Pacifica has a button to disable it to get the vehicle to stop applying breaks.@rogueone Is vehicle slams the breaks, when you are backing up? My previous EV, VW ID4, was "thinking" there was an obsticle, I had to fight it.
