Hello,

Just thought I'd update for those of us in NJ.  New Jersey does not charge sales tax.  Fisker has sales tax listed in my final price.  I reached out and they said it would be updated.  I'm not holding my breath.

@ravi-patel give them a break, they’ve been good about following up complaints/questions. Might take a day or two but they’ll make it work.

Will I get my Fisker One delivered before my VW needs its 100K service?? The race is on..
and…… will we still get the $7500 tax credit? Only HF knows…

@ravi-patel Have you asked about the $4,000 rebate available in New Jersey?

@wfernandez I sent them an email with the information provided by NJ public utilities.  Seems like they are very far behind applying for individual state rebate applications.

Give the a break? ok.   sure.

Has anyone in NJ received and registered their O1? I want to see if Fisker still charges Sales Tax on the final invoice.

NJ does not charge Sales Tax for EV registration. When my financing option opened today, I saw $4572 for Sales Tax. I wrote to the Vehicle Admin with a link to the NJ Chargeup program that mentions the EV sales tax exemption.

I wanted to verify this with the other NJ folks who have registered their O1.

@wfernandez The NJ charge up rebate would not apply for O1 because the MSRP limit is 55k. It is broken down into two MSRP Brackets

up to $45k - $4000

$45k - $55k - $2000

> $55k - Nothing

This amount is reduced from the MSRP by the dealership so I hope Fisker gets this sorted out by the time Ocean Ultras and Sports start rolling out.

@shikhar-soni The Vehicle admin assigned to me is Gena. She hasn't been very proactive in communication so I keep emailing her on status almost every day. Ten days ago, I was told by Gena that my Ocean is in transit to the US but I am not so sure since my account is not showing 'At Sea" yet and I spoke with a Radgiver who said my O1 is still at the port waiting for shipment and delivery may be early October. Unbelievable that no one is giving accurate picture on the status when we are toward the end of the promised delivery window.

@ashutosh-sakpal so my status is way behind yours. I just had the finance approved. I guess you guys will be teaching Fisker what to do in NJ to get the tax exception! It’s very discouraging to see so many problems with delivery. The “T” was great experience that way.

@shikhar-soni My Finance was approved yesterday, too. My VIN is 41XX so was hoping to get mine by Sept 25 because my friend in the same area with VIN 405X received email that Ocean has arrived in the port.
