It seems that most online feedback on the FOO has centered around problems and glitches. I don't feel like I'm seeing as much feedback from satisfied owners, who may be drowned out by the negativity related to early new product problems. I'm due to receive my FOO soon, but I haven't yet made the final payment as I've been spooked by all the reported issues, compounded by the lack of a service infrastructure.

So new owners, how are you feeling? Are you happy with the purchase? Regrets?

Are you happy with the purchase?

Yes! It's been two months since I received my Fisker Ocean, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to make this purchase. Getting behind the wheel of my car every day is an absolute joy – surprising, isn't it? This experience has been incredibly enjoyable for me too, and I can only anticipate it getting even more exciting. It's been an extraordinary journey thus far, and I firmly believe that the best is yet to come!

I love my FOO!  She looks even better in person than I expected. 😍  She has already been named - Mari.  The missing software items and glitches are a pain but I went in with eyes wide open since it is an EV and a brand new vehicle with cutting edge features.  It is hard that not everything works as expected out of the starting gate but I am hopeful that improvements and fixes will be speedy by Fisker.

The ride, handling and acceleration are awesome!  GPS, UI, software leaves much to be desired; normal customer service/relations is woefully inadequate.

@nofrunk I'm guessing another 6 months until they get their act together on the software and achieve acceptable "customer service/relations".

@fisker-brat hum---is that acceptable? maybe, maybe not!  I for one am concerned that with say 600 or  so cars delivered to date CS is awful what will happen when more cars are delivered.

@nofrunk Nope.... not even close. Indefensible.

They seem to have overestimated their capabilities for a rapid expansion of operations. The customer service response time should at the most be 24 hrs.

If I'm being honest, the 6-months timeline is a selfish wish based on my anticipated Ultra delivery. 😊

@fisker-brat for eveyone's sake I hope you are right!  HONESTLY, EVEN with all the great things about the FOO, I would NOT have proceeded with the purchase knowing what I know now; BUT on the other hand my wife thinks the aggrevation is worth it.  She is currently out driving the car and hopefully she will feel the same upon return.

FOO looks great! No doubt..... your wife loves it. My wife likes this vehicle as well. I'm more than hopeful that the only way for Fisker is up.

I'll confess that, I'm not a big fan of the many electronics..... bells and whistles on the newer cars. So, all of the software quirks will likely not bother me. I have not used many of the features on the cars I own.

I tend to agree with Bill Maher on the over engineering of everything these days.

@jfwoodman  my dad is happy to receive the car. BUT. Not happy that lots of things not working . California mode, GPS not functioning , and latest issue. We can't unlock the car door. Still waiting for customer service to reply... which takes about a week to hear back. Lucky the car is sitting in the driveway, if it was on the street and can't unlock the car door ... I don't even know how to transport it home. 🙄  so yeah . Just headaches right now.

Sorry to hear about your issue(s). Please try replacing the battery in your key fob with a brand new CR2032 battery. Once you have done that, you should be able to unlock the vehicle. If not, you can try opening the door and starting the vehicle by holding the key fob in the center of the driver's door handle for about 5 to 7 seconds. This action will trigger the door handle to open. Afterward, you can utilize the NFC reader under your steering wheel to shift your vehicle into gear. Remember to contact Fisker service through the My Fisker app; it's essential you choose the correct options to schedule a service appointment. By the way, which city and state are you located in?

I have not received my FOO yet, but a terrible experience with the delivery process. Got a call late on last Wednesday last week from Fisker telling me that my FOO was nearly ready for pickup and wanted to set a pickup time. I was then on my way to military exercise(National guard), and ask them to contact med on the following Monday. A new call on Thursday , just repeated that we should talk on Monday. Tried to get in touch with them on Monday, with no luck.
On wired the payment and got insurance, called them again today. Then they told me that they believed i was not interested in the car and had sold in to some one else.
But they had cars, so i would get another one. But not all extras i had ordered was available (winter tires ++) .
They would send me a new quote and invoice and the VIN of the "new" FOO  (the insures was done to the original VIN)
I have not heard back yet, fisker.com still shows the original order, and status "plan for delivery"

A lot of confusion and mess, caused from lack of control and structured dialog from Fisker.

To point it out, this is in Norway

And the latest update, got a call that he car was ready (the original, with the VIN i have ordered insurance for), and got a  appointment for pickup.

@holtjack very strange indeed! Chaos in a rushed deliveries setup. Good that it finally worked out for you. Or just to be sure we should wait until delivery? 🤣

I am, yes. It's everything I expected. Certain features are a bit buggy, as to be expected. I replaced the battery in my fob, and it's working significantly better now. California mode has been epic. I'm getting people gathering in my driveway to ask questions.

I understand that people may have expectations of perfection out of the gate, maybe mine are lower. I dunno. Overall though, I have been happy with the experience and do feel badly for those who have faced issues.
