Glad to see a video of the car moving along. A few things though, 15 seconds to go from 85mph to ~129mph, that better not have been at "full throttle" because that is super slooooooooowwwwww. From a stand still I get to 119 in my truck in that amount of time and that is speed limited. Also noticed all the warning labels on everything so this might not be a production car or it is just a demo test car.
Can't wait to see what the real world performance is like from an actual One owner. 0-60, 0-100, time from 0 to speed limiter you know the stuff that matters when the work day is done, lol. Also curious as to the energy consumption at "normal" highway speeds (you know where the speed limit is 75).
In the end though, I'm just happy that Henrik posted a video without saying a single word, so it can't be criticized.

Well we can still criticize the fact that this is a pre-production test mule and not a customer car. 🙂
Speed of the Fisker Ocean in this video exceeds peak top speed based on recently published specifications:

so still a lot slower than the Model Y performance I see..... 😀
looks like the Model 3 non-performance goes faster than that as well. No problem for Fisker in the US,but bad if you live near the autobahn

You say it can't be criticized after you spent the entire first paragraph criticizing??? 😝

@ttrinchi Is it called criticizing when you point out the facts? 🤔

When you add your opinion, yes, that is the definition of criticizing. (BTW, I thought it was hilarious you did that; there were no grudges.)

Is it opinion to point at that that is super slow for a +500 hp car, and that a truck can do the same, and there are warning stickers indicating that this is not an actual production car (based on the text on the sticker)? I think not.
@dsf Yes, it is an opinion. Thank you for playing.

I mean... going from 83 MPH to 129 MPH in 20 seconds is not fast....
No one ever said the Fisker Ocean reached top speeds fast or that Henrik (likely the driver in the video) had his foot all the way down on the accelerator. The acceleration was gradual. Ultimately, we know that the Fisker Ocean Extreme/One can not only achieve the published 'Peak Top Speed' but also surpass it.

@seancallahan and if anyone is aware of the acceleration capabilities of an Ocean, its @Seancallahan who has driven one on a test track .
Sean, you had a few opportunities to really rip it that day. We all saw the momentary lag at launch, but what speed did you ultimately top out at, and was your foot all the way down or were you accelerating gradually?
compared to your M3, which feels faster?
Will I get my Fisker One delivered before my VW needs its 100K service?? The race is on..
and…… will we still get the $7500 tax credit? Only HF knows…
Most people I know drive the way that he is driving. The point of the video was the speed!
Seemed quite obvious to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Now if a person wanted to race the Ocean at say the Daytona 500 then maybe this isn't the car for you. 🤣

I punched the accelerator all the way to the floor on my first go around, but I let up early well ahead of the bend at the end of the test track. Honestly, I didn't look at the speedometer because I was afraid of crashing the car. However, during my test drive, the pre-production Fisker Ocean accelerated quickly, but it didn't provide the throw-you-back-into-your-seat speed that the Tesla Model 3 offers.
On my second attempt on the Magna Steyr track, the Fisker Ocean surpassed my initial go-around in terms of speed. Abbey instructed me on the second try to keep the accelerator pressed until she told me when to hit the brake. I can't recall the exact speed on the second attempt, except that it was Henrik Fisker Fast. It's worth noting that I have never pushed my Model 3 to the level of speed I experienced during my second go-around.
Once the electric SUV gets going from the line, it quickly picks up speed. Back in high school, I had a Honda CRX equipped with an Acura Integra GSR motor and NOS. The sensation of the Fisker Ocean gaining momentum reminds me of my past experience pressing the button to activate the NOS in my engine. It's a thrilling sensation!
My old Honda completed a quarter mile in just over 13 seconds. Unfortunately, it was stolen during my senior year. I can't wait to take the Fisker Ocean to a drag strip in SoCal and see what it can do. I have a feeling that the Fisker Ocean One would have given my Honda a tough competition (not to mention my Model 3) in a quarter mile. It's going to be a fun experience!
