@ashutosh08824 Thank you! More comparisons to come. I just thought we needed to make the obvious one first. 🙂

@ashutosh08824 obviously there are some who are not happy bcs they like other Ev's. But I believe some reservation holders are disappointed bcs fisker is supposed to give you more value than Tesla at less price. Now with fisker not revealing the full specs made every one define their own specs and now it's hard to un see that. Inflation is not helping either.

@oceaniniowa I think you might have to go look at the thread because the Ocean Ultra comes out cheaper in any scenario that I could throw at it.

@hotice and what about the Extreme fully loaded vs the best Tesla Model Y (of course minus the self driving)

And please, keep in mind the tax credit for new reservations made right now

@pastiche The Ocean Extreme comes fully loaded with EVERYTHING already at $68,999 whereas you still need to add Enhanced Auto Pilot to the Model Y Performance which comes in $1,000 more expensive at $69,990.

So:

Ocean base price: $68,999 vs Model Y Performance base price: $69,990.

1. Model Y Performance ($69,990) with Enhanced Auto Pilot($6,000): $75,990 vs Ocean Extreme at $68,999.
2. Mode Y Performance ($69,990) with FSD($15,000): $84,990.vs Ocean Extreme 68,999.

Again, it's a slaughtering which the Ocean wins.

@hotice Also, Tesla does not even offer more color or wheel options like Fisker does. What you see is what you get. I am sure if Tesla adds options, the cost would be the same as what Fisker is showing in the configurator.

Tesla is the one who started the trend of charging for colors except White.

@ashutosh08824 I'd like to see Tesla fix their quality control before they decide to add anything. 🙂

@hotice wrong; the Extreme with paint and 22 wheels and interior enhanced; compare that price, not the price of the ONE. The Extreme doesn't bring paint, 22 inches and upgraded interior, and so doesn't the Y, but prices for options level the final price

Not sure why those who have decided to buy another vehicle and are disgruntled about the cost of options on the Ocean are still on this platform? Seems like the stress of it all would convince them to go to the vehicle forum they decided to purchase instead…at least that’s what I would do. 🤔

@remichex Maybe it's because the naysayers put down $250 and waited a LONG time for a vehicle, only to find out that something like orange or green paint would cost $4500.  Watch though, the reason the configurator is down is because when you see it come back up, the prices are going to be adjusted to something more reasonable and in line with industry standards.

Maybe it's just me, but I REALLY like the solar orange and if it was $1500, hey, I'd be all in.  But not $4500.  Even the interior is way overpriced if you want the white or blue interior.  Just make the cost reasonable.

@james-walters I want the Ocean because of the technology. Agree, a bit steep for specialty paints but there are other options because again, performance, mileage and tech are more important to me. I see many upset about the “lack of plushness” to the interior. From day 1 it has been out there that recyclable plastics would be used. How can anyone pluck down a deposit and expect an interior fit for a king knowing these facts?
