[Sticky] Ocean One Build Confirmation and Number Sequence

@joceppi thank you for doing this.  It’s interesting to see what is going on.  Here are my dates:

order date:  7/15/22

reservation date : 3/15/22

build lock date: 3/20/23

@frenchypeppa Email Fisker. That’s what I had to do. My initial lock date was 3/20 like you but again, like you, I received an email on the 13th telling me congrats and I was “locked out”. I went with the flow.

However, on the 19th I happened to receive an email telling me I had “until 0100 March 20 to lock in”. I went to the configurator and low and behold, I was able to edit the wheels. The next day I received an email notifying me I was locked in. I noticed people were receiving their sequence number soon after their lock in, some within minutes. 

I waited for days looking for an email with my number but everyone was receiving their number but me. I finally emailed the radgiver by logging into my account via “contact” on the app. I explained a lot of people received their sequence number right away but nearly a week had passed without mine showing up. They emailed within minutes and stated a “sequence number was assigned” to me on the 13th. I had to explain exactly what I wrote in the above paragraphs that I was again locked out a second time on the 20th, my original lock date.

Again, within minutes they replied with an apology stating there had been a mistake and acknowledged they had not given me a sequence number. They stated an email will follow with my sequence number and asked me to write back confirming I received it. Sure enough, an email soon arrived with the number.  I did confirm to them I had gotten it. 

You need to do this but since it has been this long maybe, just maybe, you will be lucky and get #5000!!!🤞

I chatted with a few minutes ago and Lo and behold, I got my number! They said they emailed it to me on 3/16 but my lock build date was 3/20 AND like you, I got an email on 3/19 to to firm up my build by midnight.

Oh it is official. My wife's anxiety is gone!!

They had to resend me the email. If you're still waiting and it's been a few days, get in touch with them already.

Hi, #4729 here.

Correction: Last second I panicked and switched my choice of White to Silver Lining, but when I received my final configuration email, it still had White. But when I received the email about my color choice inspiration, it had Silver Lining as my choice. So it apprears my color is Silver Lining instead of White. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks.
