None of the PDFs mention Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, but Amazon Alexa is clearly mentioned. Doesn't mean they can't support it in the future.

@seancallahan this is true. My Polestar 2 didn't have it for ages. It was Androids issue though not theirs. Now Android Automotive has an app for it, so it should be pretty easy. I just had to download the CarPLay app and it worked.

Doesn't look like Google Maps is powering the navigation either. The guide mentions downloading map files for updates so perhaps they sourced Garmin or another mapping tech company as the partner.

The inclusion of Alexa has pros and cons but I personally like Google assistant.

I believe I saw that Fisker will use Tomtom, however, even if it did use Google it would still need to download maps.  Tesla uses Google and downloads maps - you do not want the navigation to go dark if you are lose cellular service.

@ttrinchi I am beyond gutted there is no Apple CarPlay. I pretty much only use Apple maps currently. Old school systems like TomTom generally suck. Plus, when I had the Polestar, Google maps worked out charge remaining and needed etc with trips

They had this in the manual (page 6):

2023 01 04 (9)

Two things I noted.  On a long distance trip, it shows number of stops and how long the stops last so the system does account for charge remaining and stops needed.  Also noted in the second screen is the "Speed Camera" warning which is always nice.  Of course, these are all just computer generated images so no guarantee what the actual display will show (also concerning it shows 9 stops needed for a 1,268 mile trip).

@simon-c Do apps for Android Automotive have to be adapted to the individual car or can you just download it from the Play Store?
Wondering if CarPlay can just be downloaded to Ocean when you get the car?

Will I get my Fisker One delivered before my VW needs its 100K service?? The race is on..
and…… will we still get the $7500 tax credit? Only HF knows…

@danish_ocean I don't actually know. What Polestar told us was that they were waiting on Android Automotive to create it. However, I do think it is also down to the manufacturer as Polestar still doesn't enable you to stream video content.

Per the document looks like Fisker is using "ELS STUDIO 3D", does this mean audio configuration software is provided by Panasonic?, "ELS STUDIO 3D" seems to be used in ACURA as well. Are they the same? Any thoughts? Acura also seems to have 16 speakers similar to Fisker Ocean.

Lots of talk on the other forum about this, but the unit shows the six year old Intel Atom 3960 processor. It is the same processor that goes in the very poor-performing Geely systems (Polestar and Volvo) and the decently performing older model 3 systems (like my 2018 model). But there is no way it is going to be able to deliver top quality media and gaming with the Revolve screen and this out-of-date processor.

@ttrinchi 9 stops for a 1300 miles trip? That's less than 150 miles range per charge... I drove from Miami to Cincinnati 2 days ago; 1201 miles for a total of 19 hours and 10 minutes, including 2 stops of around 30 minutes each to eat and 3-4 quick ones for gas and bathroom.
