Hello Tommaso, As a Fisker reservation holder, we are providing you with an update regarding the Fisker Ocean production and delivery timelines in North America. The First Wave We expect our earliest North American vehicle deliveries will take place in late June. A variety of factors, including delivery speed and the logistics capabilities of our delivery centers will determine the first wave of vehicles delivered. Customers who are part of the first wave of deliveries will start receiving their estimated delivery dates via email as early as Friday, May 26. The Next Wave Our priority will be to finalize the production and delivery of the remaining 5,000 Fisker Ocean Ones to all initial launch markets. For those in the next wave, we will provide you with updates regarding your Ocean One estimated delivery date by month, week, and exact delivery date as those dates approach. As a reminder, your unique Ocean One number sequence does not dictate the order or timing of your delivery. Vehicle delivery timing will be based on our regional rollout and is not dependent upon the assigned vehicle number.

What is nice about this is we got some communication and clarification that deliveries have NOTHING to do with the assigned One number, so a 4xxxx can get their vehicle in June and a 1xx may get it in September.  This at least helps prevent expectations due to their number.

What I was hoping for was an EPA update, but this I'll take as a win for now.

The first wave
We expect the first wave of European deliveries to take place in the latter half of June. A number of factors, including delivery speed and the logistics capacity of our delivery centers, will determine the first wave of vehicles delivered. Customers who are part of the first wave of deliveries will begin receiving their estimated delivery dates via email as early as Friday, May 19.

The next wave
Our priority will be to complete production and delivery of the remaining 5,000 Fisker Ocean Ones to all initial launch markets. For those in the next wave, we will provide you with updates on the estimated delivery date of your Ocean One by month, week and exact delivery date as these dates approach.

What I was hoping for was an EPA update, but this I'll take as a win for now.

They have stated that before but nice to see them reiterating.  Not sure someone in the 40k range is getting a One 😆 but I do think the sequence would go in order within a region.  While a customer in Germany in the 3k/4k range may get delivery before someone in the U.S. in the 1K/2K range, they would not get delivery before someone else in Germany with a 1K/2K number.

Why are “the first wave of European deliveries” expected to take place in the latter half of June? Homologation in Europe is complete and the first “deliveries” already started. Am I wrong to interpret this as a production problem?

Until we get actual numbers, remember that “waves” come in all sizes, they did use plural on customers, so at least two is what was announced. 🤔 

@kitaz I think you’re on to HF’s communication style! So we can expect two more in the US in early June followed by two more in Europe in late June? Where’s that thread with a poll for the $5 gift card? My guess is six cars delivered by June 30th!! 🤪🤷🏼‍♂️

For some reason, I did Not receive that email. And yes, I am an Ocean One reservation holder. Anyone else not receive it?

Hey maybe they can double or even triple deliveries month over month, not a lot of car companies could ever dream of doing that! Oh wait, lol. 

@davecarguy Ours was in the spam. Dont know Why.

@ttrinchi Did the European area get a different email?  Sequence number will have nothing to do with delivery in the US but figured that would be worldwide.  I don't see why someone with a lower number would automatically receive it before a higher number if the higher number is involved in part of a mass shipment due to location, I can see a 4500 being delivered before a 70, all about logistics and locations.

@danmark Thanks, but I did check spam and junk folders. Nothing there. I checked everywhere (and II"m no tech dummy, so it's not like I'm missing something). I sent a note earlier to Fisker customer care and they tell me the email was sent to my proper address and didn't bounce back.  It appears Ocean One ($5000) reservation holders got one version and other reservation holders ($250) got another. But I got neither. Oh well. they say they sent it, so nothing more to do.
