Based on today's new owner virtual orientation it appears CarPlay and Android are coming "soon"!

This is not good and disappointing to hear so soon. Funny how people make comments of TomTom but completely ignore how poorly implemented CarPlay is in cars. CarPlay is a crutch for infotainment system; I just hope they continue to focus on their own system.

@ttrinchi Have you seen videos of TomTom in the Ocean? It's like having someone with a compass and a map in your passenger seat.
Just during the test drive and playing with it while I was at Fisker. I have seen plenty of CarCr*p though.

@bier_meister lol--not that bad, but close maybe a compass and an AAA Triptik. How did I drive across the country (40 plus years ago) by myself and with a map--now I use GPS to get out of my driveway!!!

@ttrinchi same here. TomTom has at least been programmed to search for charging stations based on the SOC of the car as well as driver inputs, whereas the Apple CarPlay map function goes where you input destinations.
i could be wrong about this but this is based on a few comments made by early ONE customers.
Will I get my Fisker One delivered before my VW needs its 100K service?? The race is on..
and…… will we still get the $7500 tax credit? Only HF knows…

@seaphil CarPlay did start providing charge stops for some brands; it would require Fisker to open up its API (or is it IPA) so don't expect Fisker CarPlay to have it.

ACP and the Fisker UI need not be mutually exclusive — in my BMW 330i, you can easily toggle between the BMW UI and Apple Car Play by clicking an app icon. Fisker could do the same, so we can have the predictable, reliable, flexible ACP infotainment experience while keeping ready access to the Fisker/TomTom UI for route planning, navigation.

@bier_meister I look forward to seeing the TomTom / Fisker UI at work when I receive my Ocean Ultra (at some point, hopefully sooner than later!).

On todays new owner call Fisker again indicated that apple/android carplaycare coming--they did not committ to a date BUT they did indicate that they anticpate having PHONE AS KEY enabled by end of this year (Q4 2023). As we know seeing is believing
