@afuche nice scratch on the front bumper already... hope is not caused during the delivery process
@pastiche Noticed that too. Regardless, it's a good look at these wheels on the car. May have swayed me back to the 20 inches.

Scratches on the bumper but no curb rash on the wheels! One of the reasons I prefer the 20" is that they seem less prone to curb rash. The tire seems to protrude from the wheel so should protect the wheel unlike on my tesla where the wheel protrudes.

@ttrinchi Bigger side walls on the tires have many benefits vs larger rims. On the performance cars I have owned in the past (with large rims and thin rubber) the tires themselves were designed with an extra lip of rubber on the sidewall that stuck out a bit to try and save rim edges from curb rash. It worked ok, but any real bump into a curb would mean some damage.
I would always, always, select a smaller rim and larger tire. Unless you are only using the car as a show pony, the smaller rims and larger sidewalls will always be a better option for absolutely everything except styling and looks at certain angles. Softer ride, better protection, cheaper tires, are big advantages of more rubber vs more rim.

But the looks GrimTango... The looks! We'll at least I'll use your reasoning to console myself if I get the Extreme with 20"..!
@grimtango Completely agree. Although not "low profile", the profile on the 20" is still relatively low. The only way to completely avoid curb rash is for the tire sidewall to be taller than the curb - the rubber can only protect so much when you send a 5,000 lb. vehicle into a curb. In addition to softer ride, better protection, cheaper tires, you also get better efficiency with smaller wheels. I know I am in a huge minority on this, but I prefer the look of larger sidewalls on SUVs/trucks.

The 20 inches wheel Fisker provides are uglier than the backside of a refrigerator. Since I have the ONE trim, I want to maximize my money/value, which is taking the 22inches in whatever model I want at no cost over the ugly 20inches option.
if in the future my range and my tyre cost gets a priority, I might buy new rims for around 800-1000$, but at least would be the ones I like, not some ugly rims like the factory ones.
Sorry if my comments offended someone 😀
@pastiche Unless you plan on flipping the One, you will "maximize your money" by getting the 20" as the additional maintenance, electricity and repair costs of the 22"s will more than offset any small residual value gain when you sell.

That's Horizon Gray, right? Torn between that or Mariana. Hope we get, or can get, Fisker-logo'd center caps for the 20", otherwise going without the covers will require something like this.

Tough choice in colours. I too am confounded.
I have my perfect match if the option was available; BSB with Black Vortex wheels, but unfortunately, rims are not available in black
So will taking off the covers will affect mileage? I think i read that somewhere, but i don't think it will be significant. Without the covers, the 20" seem decent, with the cover, ugly.
@carlh Fisker has shown the 20" wheels with center logo caps in the past. I don't know why they don't have them.

Here is a study that was done on the Model 3. The difference was about 4-5%. (Granted, difference cover designs would have different effect.)
