Yes, helpful to know how to open charge port door. It’s not standard for car to be unlocked to open filler port. My old Chevy Malibu I press outer edge and it opens, my wife’s Volvo you press a button inside the car. Neither requires the car to be unlocked. So yes, instructions are very helpful.

And you looked up YouTube videos to learn that? 🤣 Most ICE vehicles I have owned would have the fuel door lock when the doors are locked; mostly to keep people from stealing gas - not sure as much of an issue with electric.
