@seancallahan Hi Sean I am not really ready to move on until most of the FOO owners have satisfactorily received their deliveries....what is the point of introducing new "Luxury EV Brands" to this forum??? Folks joining this forum are here to share their experience on their Fisker Ocean...not talk about other vehicles...Just my thought since some of us have not even looked the FOO (or the car in general) that we paid for in person....

Perhaps the article lacked clarity? There won't be any changes here – the forums remain the same, with no additions or subtractions. I'll continue covering Fisker as usual on Fiskerati.com. However, I'll also begin covering other EV brands alongside Fisker to introduce new audiences to the Fisker brand. For example, someone might come to read about Polestar and end up discovering Fisker or the Fisker Ocean. I hope that clarifies things.

@seancallahan I think this is great news.
it is difficult to compare the true quality and technology without using other manufacturers and obviously other vehicles.  At the same time, EV owners of all models experience different charging when traveling.

I have been traveling in the Northeast (Massachusetts , New Hampshire, and Maine) and renting a 2023 FWD Polestar2.  This has been my first experience with driving an EV more than just a 5 mile test drive.

I’m not gonna lie, the first few days were a bit concerning (think why did I do this).  My first three attempts at charging were at level1 and level2 stations and the car showed many hours to go from 40% to 80%.  I then used the CP app to find a recently installed 150Kw DC fast charger. Of course while only 10 minutes into my charge the two CP pedestals went offline and then into diagnostics testing for 10-15 minutes. Eventually I moved the car to the first working unit and resumed charging.

I’ve now driven through three states and over 400 miles in the past four days. While in New Hampshire I only had access to a Level2 charger outside a restaurant. I parked my car for two hours and returned at 70%

Here are a couple charging curve screen captures from the Polestar2

Received Nov 7 Fisker Ocean ONE in Blue Planet, 22" F3b Wheels, Maliblu interior and trailer hitch, #0356 and VIN: ... 05nnn. Kavaca Ceramic Window Tinting and Kavaca PPF front and mirror caps.

I suggest that you add topics called non_fisker_ev, home_charging and DC_Fast_charging in addition to just the Fisker EVs you now have.

I can send you FAQ about charging Lucid at EA, EVgo and other places. Send me a DM @seancallahan if you would like my voluntary contribution to help the cause of EVs.

It really helps a lot if we become a community and help each other when we are on the road away from home and need charging and there is no publicly available DCFC or a L2 available. I understand that AAA now provides an emergency charge on the road just as they supply emergency fuel.

@harik_fisker Thanks Harik. Happy to add additional menu options. Just updated the nav on the mobile apps moments ago. I'll reach out by DM now to see what else we can think of.

Is this why the Charge section disappeared?

I am not against more EV information to increase my knowledge. I have never owned one in the past, but I want to get one to help keep my hard-earned money in my pocket as opposed to the gas companies or Governments pockets (67% of the price of fuel here is Tax!). I am a mechanic and like to learn about them. I work for the largest city on the East Coast of Canada and we have been getting hybrids and electric cars to replace a large portion of our Fleet, so anything that helps me at work is beneficial as well (we currently have Hyundai Ionic HEV's, Toyota Rav4 HEV's, Ford escape PHEV's, Ford Mach E BEV's, F150 Lightning BEV's, Ford E Transit BEV's, EV Forklifts and sidewalk Steet Sweepers) with more to come in all categories.
