Does anyone know availability or timeline for new Ocean orders? I'm in San Diego and seeing a few Ocean's around here, thinking about a getting an Ocean Sport but they are showing as 'currently unavailable' on the Fisker website....

I was curious too as I live in San Diego. I reached out to a Radgiver and here is what I was told:

Currently, Fisker Ocean Ultra and Sport models are both sold out for the U.S. market for 2023, therefore any new orders won't be built until next year. However, we are currently building our vehicles in order of trim level for 2023; we do not yet have any production details for 2024, as a result there unfortunately isn't an ETA we can provide. Best thing to do would be to put in a reservation today, and wait for more details in 2024. You can choose to place the reservation now if you don't mind waiting, which will place you in the queue for ordering. However, if you would rather wait for more information you can hold off on the reservation for now, as there is a 10% processing fee upon canceling the reservation.

Especially if you're a 5 year old!

First step to delivery in SoCal, I got this message today: 

"Your Vehicle is in Production!"

@seancallahan - As you can see, I just got a "Your Vehicle is in Production" email.  Wahooo. 
 

l also got a quote for PPF about half of what a shop in San Diego gave me. They told me it takes about 5 days in the shop to cut and put it on as well as curing.  Was that your experience?

Yes, sounds about right for installation. Curing takes a bit longer, which is why my follow up visit was 10 days after I picked up my car. 

@gregory-a-lee 6K for FULL Sun-TekPPF--had it done by someone in Temecula he was awesome with phenomenal yelp reviews!  My FOO is the second one he had done!  Although there are other great installers I personally would not use anyone else!

@nofrunk - My quote here in Orange County is $4,500. Temecula isn’t too far to go.

@gregory-a-lee Whatever you are comfortable with is best---Not knowing I would have gone to OC to save $1500 (our daughter lives in OC) BUT given the job the installer did for us--I would spend the extra money any day of the week--- best of luck

@nofrunk - This shop was recommended to me by a friend who does window tinting, so he works in the industry plus in all the recommendations he has given, he never has been wrong. All the recommended places do excellent work. So we will see.
