Chinese are making a lot of stuff for EVs (starting from batteries, Fisker included) and are making quite a few EVs themselves for good measure.
So, they can't be that bad. They are here to stay. It was just like people used to put down Japanese products and cars once.
They have put me in the waitlist for Ocean One.
Hoping to get one :)

@harmony the companies making the batteries are not the stores on Amazon who sell 1 good product for every 10 pieces of disposable junk . Its gotten to where you can’t even trust the reviews to be legit. I’ve purchased items with 4.5 star average ratings and over 1k reviews and returned them within a day of taking delivery they were so bad.
Last lesson, bought 2 pairs of snowshoes. These were rated for intermediate users and suitable for a wide variety of terrain. 4.5 rating and 2500++ reviews.
Received them but could not use them for 5 weeks as we went through a snow “drout”. When we finally got a chance to use them, they were garbage. Loudest damned things i ever wore and the supposed slip-proof buckles kept loosening. Of course by this point we were well past the 30 day return period.
I might buy something for my older car but probably won’t but anything on amazon automotive for the Fisker.

I see your point, I guess we were talking about different things.
They have put me in the waitlist for Ocean One.
