The NHTSA needs to come up with a new term for these "recalls." There is a big difference for a recall that can be done by a software update (like this one) and a recall that needs to be taken to a service center.

The NHTSA needs to come up with a new term for these "recalls." There is a big difference for a recall that can be done by a software update (like this one) and a recall that needs to be taken to a service center.
They should just call it what it is: a mandated software update. "Tesla Issues a NHTSA Mandated Software Update." That said, it is pretty strong confirmation that there are 362,000 vehicles on the FSD Beta program!
