Good for EV adoption.
Tesla has lowered the sticker price, according to its website, for its Model 3 by $1,000 and its Model Y by $2,000. For its more expensive Model S and Model X, prices came down $5,000.
A Model 3 starts at about $42,000 now. A Model Y at $50,000. The S and X models start at about $85,000 and $95,000, respectively.

Yeah! If Tesla keeps on cutting prices at this rate, eventually it will get to a point where I will not be able to resist switching over from a converted Ultra order to the Model Y.
Here we go again. 🤣
Anyone know when will the 24' Model Y design will be revealed?
@mag48 Tesla does not do model year changeovers. Refreshed Model y will arrive at some random moment as a mid-year change
@bayoubob didn't realize but this is good to know. Lots of references starting to popup about the 3 and Y refresh.
Did you notice the Model Y performance with FSD is exactly 69k same as Ocean one Extreme? Granted Model Y gets 7.5k tax credit but Ocean one has 40 miles more range, the cool factor Solar roof and much better interior and dash. Basically Tesla was forced to match the competition.
