@derekakunne If you think it isn't you're delusional and a Tesla fan boy. Tesla folks like to pretend that every manufacturer has misaligned door panels and atrocious panel gaps.
Legacy manufactures have humans that check cars before they roll out the factory and robots that measure the cars gaps before it leaves the factory.
@hotice also, you completely side stepped every point I made to just say “oh well panel gaps”😂
@derekakunne Yes, because quality matters. Standards matter. If I'm paying $70,000 to $80,000 for a car, I better not have take it back to the service center the next day and drop it off because the manufacturer can't be bothered to check to make sure that everything is solid before it leaves the factory. I have standards. If you don't, that's a personal problem.
The Model 3 refresh was announced last night and stock is tanking. This should going the other way. Dropping prices by $20,000 and slashing margins doesn't give investors confidence. Ya'll can spin this however you want but I can promise you Model S/X owners that bought within the last 48 hours will never buy another Tesla ever again.

lol I’m not a delusional Tesla fan boy. I’m a realist. And you’re a person who’s so blinded by their hate for Tesla that they can’t see straight. Never owned a Tesla and would never buy one. Literally just said this to my friend last night who is a tesla fan boy:
@derekakunne Congratulations! Tesla has caught up with luxury cars from 10 years ago! Want to give them a cookie?
I've done all of the research. I just don't have my nose stuck up Elons booty hole. I own a Model Y for whatever it is worth.
@hotice and I know for a fact your hate for Tesla hinges on the verge of delusional because you frequent the RealTesla sub Reddit. You go out of your way to spend time talking about a company you hate. I don’t like Teslas. I think they’re ugly as all get out and boring cars. But I don’t hate the company and I don’t hate Elon Musk.
I just see reality and understand that most people aren’t like me and will buy a car based on price value and familiarity. When I’m looking to buy a car the first thing I consider is if the design language speaks to me. And that’s what initially drew me to the ocean. I love the design, it’s a gorgeous car, and for my needs/wants an Ultra is a much better purchase than a model Y of any trim.
@derekakunne I wouldn't own the product if I "hated" the brand. I'm just someone with experience in the industry and actually knows what they're talking about, unlike some people here.
@derekakunne I do frequent the RealTesla subreddit because pointing out any kind of flaws in a Tesla gets you excuse after excuse and every curse word under the sun. So...No, I do not participate in circle jerking.
@hotice why are you having such an emotional response to this discussion? Throwing insults, saying I have my nose stuck up Elon’s booty hole? For what? This is why I say you seem like the delusional one. Your emotional response to someone suggesting that a tesla might be a better value proposition than an ocean is disproportionate to the gravity of the claim…..
One may even say it’s a delusional response.
@hotice Tesla’s have their flaws. Panel gaps are one of the many flaws. They’re also just boring cars with no inspiration in their design. They look like they asked smeone from the 1960s-70s to design a futuristic car. They look sterile and lifeless. BUT, I also understand that a lot of people do love the cars and buy things based off of familiarity, recommendations from friends/family and value proposition. That’s all I’m pointing out and your immediate response to claim I’m a Tesla fan boy and that I have nose up Elon’s butt? Do you not see how irrational that is?
also, I’m Mgdwreck on Reddit, so you should know by our previous interactions and my posts that I’m far from a tesla fan boy.
@hotice we gotta stop pretending that panel gap misalignment is something exclusive to tesla Lmao.
yeah, leave it to him and he thinks Tesla is the only car that has ever done it. Its just that Tesla is the only company he will mention, to put Fisker in a better light.
Hotice you must be new to stocks. The prices goes up and down all the time, smh.It does even matter if Tesla loses the #1 EV market share. They will still be top 3 EV company and bascially better than 95% of all other EV companies. Elon was richest man in the world. Henrik will never come close to that. All your responses show you TRULY know NOTHING about business, because Tesla has done that remarkably
You're response show you have real true internal hatred for Elon/Tesla. pretty sad
"I just don't have my nose stuck up Elons booty hole"
As if having your nose up Henrik's is any better...........
@derekakunne I'm not emotional at all. You think you're the quintessential Tesla buyer and you're not. Value for someone that is coming from a luxury vehicle like isn't money. It's their time, it's the quality of materials, it's the customer service, it's how they're dealt with when they have problems. Premium customers don't care about the money value because they have enough of it.
@tesla4now This problem would be solved if Tesla actually decided to make a product that wasn't flawed. Something other manufacturers have been doing for decades. Yes, I am passionate about the industry because I use to be in the industry.
The sad part is the general public not being educated enough to understand what is and is not the norm in the industry.
