I see a bad moon arisin,

There is no bathroom on the right.

The Cat People have walked away from their $5250 and Henrick Fisker.

The Mach E GT Performance is ordered. It is very obvious why we made this decision.

Good luck to everyone. We will keep our ears to the ground for any forthcoming class actions.

Good luck @ocsteve39. Probably a wise choice, avoiding the sunk cost fallacy. I did the same to my One and would have even if I had lost the full deposit. Something needs to improve radically before I venture into having this kind of grief into my life. Charger congestions and harsh rides (Y) seems a lot less annoying now.

I got a Y last month but would still consider going through with my One. Without a radical improvement to the product currently be delivered I will not follow through. I am considering taking delivery and going the lemon route to recover my money but have really researched it yet.

Knowing some features will be delayed as an early adopter is not the same as basic items not working and error codes popping off for safety features like air bags. Add to the limited info about Sean using DC charging indicates there might be a problem with handshakes with different providers. I don’t see myself accepting delivery the way things are looking.

someone needs to share the stuff Aslash304 talks about in his recent video. I would happily defer my delivery a year to get a quality product.

I don't know what I will be doing, the delivered Ones have mixed reviews.  Sean seems to really enjoy his and hasn't reported many problems.  Others have had some service issues and the way it seems they are handled is unacceptable to me.  If you need to take my care for service for an undetermined amount of time, you better be giving me a loaner.

I have looked again at the Mustang Mach E GT and may ditch the $5k for that (not going to throw good money away after bad), 2.9% financing certainly will help recoup some of the loss (figured saving about $3k in interest).  The performance is better but the range isn't, however the battery is smaller so it isn't a fair comparison.  That or the KIA EV6 GT but the mileage is less than the Mustang.  My only other thought is to hold out for a Rivian.

As grown people, we put our money on the Fisker.inc venture.

As grown people, (you may notice) we aren't here in full melt down. Yep, we walked away from the investment, we cut bait.

Fisker.inc has got some midnight oil to burn but tomorrows Rogan unveiling is more important.

Rather than freak out, we went for next car we would want. The Mach E performance is going to be fun.

Still not ready to cancel the One, waiting to see if a resale market emerges. Our R1S quad shows up in a couple of weeks and for the next purchase we are leaning toward a second R1S dual motor just officially rated 352 miles on EPA. Either that or a Y dual motor and a transfer of our FSD.

In the mean time, I see no advantage to me to cancel the Fisker until it is ready for home delivery and final payment is due. I will make a decision on that day.

Re the bet on Fisker Inc, I cut the losses after eating a 40% drop in value and sold at $5.35 so it goes. I put the proceeds in RIVN at $13.25. So net-net it all worked out.

@bayoubob I am also holding on until the last day. I saw a Fisker resold on the Danish FO FB group. Between translation and not being able to translate the original (it’s a screen grab I think) I am unsure what the pricing was compared to purchase.

I see you have been on the forum a while, posted a ton, trusted the company enough to invested in it!  I think the product got reasonable reviews and any issues reported seem minor with fix on the way. You are very close to getting your hands on it. You get the $7,500 rebate, expereince the Ocean and probably breakeven, if you decide to sell.

Can I ask what drew you to Fisker in the first place? Your impression of Fisker has soured along the way, why? I heard Fisker thank the early reservation holders repeatedly, thats you! I hope they can make it right by you and deliver your vehicle soon!!

Reservation May 13, 2021; Ordered Ultra [VIN ...85XX; 20 Sept 2023], Great White, 22" F5a, Black Abyss, Winter and Tow/Electric package; 2019 Honda Clarity Touring PHEV; 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle PHEV. LG 10 kWp solar.

I do not wish to try to persuade anyone else to abandon the Ocean nor do I wish to get into an argument about my views of the Vehicle etc. So I am going to decline to respond directly to your question except to say there are enough things about the vehicle, the company, and Henrik that have been revealed over the past year plus since I signed over the $5k deposit that I am no longer interested in purchasing it, at least as a keeper vehicle. I am still considering a buy and resell path if I see evidence that there is strong enough demand to overcome the sales tax penalty.

Everything with our Rivian R1T has been great. Software is probably the second best in the EV industry ATM too. Tesla is still far and away #1 there.

Have you test driven the Mustang and the EV6 yet?

I did test drive the EV6 GT and holy cow is that thing fast!!!!  Who knew you can burn rubber in an EV, had the car chirping the tires down the road.

Like you I had huge hopes and was impressed with the ideas of Fisker so I trusted and put money down, later bought some stock.  Things progressed slowly, a lot of excitement happened in late 2022 and then the lies began and details released that didn't align with what was marketed and told.  I know people will say early adopter you should expect this or that and I do but I don't like the lies and now lack of a fully working product that uses old technology that will be without a doubt outdated next year and in 3 years obsolete.

The Kia has everything the Fisker has and more and certainly better for much less (less range but who drives 200 miles a day?).  Headlights, Henrik said when asked if they are Matrix, he said BETTER (like everything else he says)!  Kia's headlights are better, adaptive always on high beam that will cut out pixels to prevent blinding on coming drivers yet still fully illuminate the side of the road, that's wild and cutting edge to me, and safe.

IDK, I really thought Henrik would pull thru but feel he is just another Elon, delusional in his own world.

The EU has had this tech for a long while now with many of the luxury offerings there. It is very cool tech, and it drives me nuts that the US does not allow it yet.

It hardly counts as a luxury offerings when they are options on the cheapest Opels. New ID.3 has them. Skodas have them. Polestar has one of the best.

It is a huge safety feature for people driving a lot in the dark on unlit roads.

Edit: I see that even the lower trim Ford Fiesta (small, cheap cars) have led matrix for '22. Good thing we got the late tech selection that only Fisker knows how to do.

@grimtango I thought the US approved then recently.
