Received an email from ChargePoint about finally offering a Pay-As-You-Go option. I'm not a fan of pre-loading apps before you use them. I always end up with a balance, most of the time, that I never end up using. Nice to finally have this option!

companies love these auto load options as they get free money w/o providing any service in the immediate future- and sometimes indefinitely.
Will I get my Fisker One delivered before my VW needs its 100K service?? The race is on..
and…… will we still get the $7500 tax credit? Only HF knows…
@seaphil Yeah, there are so many apps that I’ve preloaded money on over the years and have forgotten about. Same with gift cards, love and hate them. Most of the times I end up with a tiny balance on a gift card and for one reason or another end up losing it.

You said in the article that charge point “will be essential for Fisker Ocean owners.” I was wondering why? I was not planning to use it because the charge network is crappy and the app is awful. It does not even allow one to select the minimum charging speed. Why is it essential vs say PlugShare?

The ChargePoint app appears to be continuously marketed by Fisker as recent as this weekend. Based on that, it appears to be essential, even though I'll likely use it along with PlugShare and others.
