Nice job on the review. Nice to see honest assessments of pluses and minuses. Re the question "how long does it take to charge" I have learned over the years that what people are really asking is whether it is a practical vehicle. So I would answer this way for a Mustang Mach E:
"It charges overnight at home so it is always a full tank when I get up in the morning. It goes about 250 miles on a charge. When you are on a road trip it take about 30 minutes to add 200 miles of range."
About half the people pause after the first part of the answer and a light goes off. Ahh you are always full, every day, no going to gas station. The second half understand the point that it is not as convenient but you just stop for a quick bathroom break and a bite to eat every 3 hours and the second light bulb goes off. On a Model Y you would say "Goes around 300 miles on a charge, takes 8-10 minutes to add 100 miles and about 20 minutes to add 200 miles of range."
It is both an honest and simple way to answer what people really care about: how long to add 100 miles (long out and back) or 200 miles (road trip). Yes, if you started at a 50% charge it would take longer, but that is unrealistic. You stop to charge when you get below 20%. So I find this really helps to keep it honest and simple.
@bayoubob yea, that is generally the same answer we give. My favorite is when they say there aren't any chargers around and I pullout the Plugshare app and there is always chargers within 10 miles. Not all dcfc but, I say, "you don't know where they are because your not looking for them " lol
