@neni There was nothing in the article about EV Charging Stations (just the "click bait" title 🙂).  It is good to see they are converting to more sustainable equipment.  They should do solar.

I do think the future is for establishments (and gas stations) having 2-4 DCFC to help bring customers in.  If there are plenty of sites with charging (and a good integrated system with real time information) then you don't really need the 100+ stations that Tesla is building (with the exception of some major travel routes such as I-5 or I-95).  I feel what is holding back the proliferation of EV charging stations is utilities' demand charge as well as permitting process in many municipalities.  Utilities need to revise their pricing models for DCFC so that a single station will not incur ridiculous charges and municipalities need to start fast-track permitting to approve small scale DCFC sites.

@ttrinchi regarding the charging station it’s not called out in the one I posted above but in another CNBC post this is what they callied out. 
“When feasible, some locations will have rooftop solar panels and charging stations for electric vehicles.”
